When hunting in a CWD Disease Management Area (DMA), consider having your deer tested for CWD. Testing helps DWR monitor the infection rate of the deer populations and map the geographic spread. This information is crucial to helping DWR slow the spread of this disease. Voluntary testing is also available free of charge outside of DMAs at select regional DWR offices.
