An individual may qualify as a landowner by: 1) owning the minimum amount of agricultural land, 2) leasing the minimum amount of agricultural land or 3) being a partner, officer, shareholder, or beneficiary designated as the qualifying landowner by a partnership, corporation or trust that owns the minimum amount of agricultural land.
