The durable tag described in 1(b)(i) shall remain attached to the carcass. Exceptions: (a) The durable tag may be removed from the carcass when the carcass is processed and butchered for consumption by an individual for their personal use. (b) The durable tag may be removed from the carcass if the head is not attached to the carcass in which case the durable tag shall remain with the head. (c) The durable tag may be removed from the carcass if the carcass, including the head, has been accepted for processing and recorded by a commercial processor or taxidermist.
